We are seeking a Plant Operations Manager for County Materials in Roberts, WI.

Job Duties:


  • Oversee the daily production operations of the plant.
  • Monitors operations for efficiency and safety, ensuring that all applicable regulatory requirements are met/followed.
  • Develop production schedules to meet internal goals as well as the expectations of customers.
  • Oversee production staff, including hiring/training team members.
  • Develop plans for the maximum utilization of materials, machines and team members.
  • Hands-on experience driving cost-saving initiatives and process improvements in manufacturing.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and building and establish plant housekeeping standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Work Environment:


  • Work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including extreme hot or cold temperatures
  • Work near moving machinery and equipment - could include electrical hazards
  • Work in a noisy environment

Experience & Qualifications:


  • A minimum of five years progressively responsible related experience in production and operations management.
  • Hands-on experience with day-to-day plant operations.
  • Knowledge of production workflows, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
  • 5-10 years in supervisory or managerial roles (e.g., Production Supervisor, etc.).
  • Involvement in budgeting and cost optimization.
  • Experience with process improvement and waste reduction.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with ERP and manufacturing and sales systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MES).
