PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $104,000.00-$126,900.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $80,800.00 - $150,200.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE:
As a Business Support Manager, you'll be the orchestrator behind the scenes-bringing clarity, coordination, and structure to a dynamic and evolving division. You'll partner closely with senior leaders to drive operational excellence, streamline communication, and support strategic initiatives, especially around risk management and vendor oversight. Your work will directly influence how the MDX division operates, communicates, and adapts to change. This is a highly visible role with exposure to executive leadership, offering a unique opportunity to shape processes and elevate team performance. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Lead Divisional Orchestration: Own and manage key coordination efforts across the MDX division, ensuring initiatives are aligned, documented, and executed with precision.
  • Drive Executive Communication: Create polished, executive-level presentations and communications for senior leadership, including the EVP and Governing Board.
  • Support Risk Management Initiatives: Partner with leadership to build out risk control self-assessment (RCSA) processes and improve visibility into operational risk.
  • Manage Vendor Relationships: Liaise with the vendor management team to track contracts, service level agreements, and ensure effective communication of vendor updates.
  • Champion Process Improvement: Identify gaps in operational workflows and lead efforts to streamline and optimize business processes.
  • Coordinate Strategic Projects: Assist in standing up new programs, including monday.com implementation and other cross-functional initiatives.
  • Facilitate Budgeting & Planning: Support departmental budgeting and annual planning in collaboration with leadership.
  • Enable Workforce Strategy: Contribute to workforce analytics and optimization efforts, helping align talent with business needs.
  • Build Dashboards & Reporting Tools: Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting mechanisms to support decision-making and performance tracking.
  • Act as a Liaison: Serve as the connective tissue between the department, credit union, and external partners-ensuring smooth communication and follow-through.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communication, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience developing or executing business strategy or business plans.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience leading or advising small teams.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience creating executive-level communications.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree.
  • Experience in IT, project management, or business support environments.
  • Knowledge of credit union policies, programs, procedures, and financial/accounting practices.
  • Familiarity with monday.com or similar project management tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exposure to risk management or RCSA processes.
  • Interest in AI and emerging technologies.
  • Experience in cross-team collaboration and navigating organizational change.
  • Certifications such as PMP or Prosci (nice to have).
