About the Role: The Sr. Manager, Fleetcare will oversee the execution of maintenance and repair activities for Wabash's TaaS (Trailers-as-a-Service) fleet. This leader will drive operational excellence through a proactive, data-driven approach that integrates predictive, preventive, and unscheduled maintenance programs. Operating at a retail-level pace, the TaaS business moves faster than a traditional leasing company or OEM, requiring agility, responsiveness, and real-time decision-making. The role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution to ensure fleet uptime, cost efficiency, and superior customer support. Your Responsibilities:
- Direct the execution of all maintenance and repair activities for the Wabash TaaS trailer fleet, including predictive, preventive, and unscheduled repairs.
- Lead and develop an international team of representatives responsible for coordinating maintenance and repair activities with customers, including carriers, brokers, and shippers.
- Utilize telematics and data analytics to identify maintenance trends, predict potential issues, and inform fleet strategy.
- Ensure adherence to preventive maintenance schedules and drive continuous improvement in PM execution percentage.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate service agreements, and monitor performance metrics.
- Oversee maintenance cost per trailer, estimate and invoice accuracy, and controllable downtime.
- Monitor and improve service start times, ensuring timely and accurate repair completion.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and customer service teams to optimize fleet reliability and lifecycle cost.
- Operate with awareness that the Wabash TaaS fleet serves nationwide and diverse markets, requiring foundational knowledge of transportation and logistics to effectively manage performance and customer expectations.
- Report on key performance indicators and develop actionable plans to address emerging challenges.

Let's Talk About Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet maintenance, operations, or related leadership roles.
- Proven ability to lead multi-site or international teams.
- Strong understanding of trailer systems, maintenance workflows, and vendor management.
- Foundational knowledge of transportation and logistics required.
- Experience leveraging data and telematics systems for maintenance optimization.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated success in managing budgets and improving operational KPIs.
