The Event Specialist will strengthen the team's operational capacity, streamline execution, and enable senior team members to focus on strategic planning, innovation, and executive engagement.

What You Can Expect

The Event Specialist plays an essential role on Marvell's Global Events & Trade Shows team, supporting the planning and execution of high-profile corporate events, industry trade shows, and internal programs. This position provides critical logistical, operational, and analytical support to ensure that every event reflects Marvell's standard of excellence and delivers exceptional experiences for executives, customers, partners, and employees.

Key Responsibilities
Event Operations & Logistics

  • Manage registration processes, attendee communications, and hotel and rooming lists.
  • Coordinate vendors and suppliers for collateral, signage, apparel, and demo materials.
  • Oversee shipping and logistics for booths, demo equipment, and on-site materials.
  • Provide onsite support including registration, badge scanning, catering coordination, and transportation.
  • Assist with booth setup and teardown, supply organization, and real-time troubleshooting.
  • Ensure seamless onsite execution through clear communication and proactive problem-solving.

Corporate & Cross-Functional Support

  • Research and source venues, caterers, and vendors for executive and internal programs.
  • Coordinate catering, restaurant reservations, and event communications.
  • Partner closely with executive assistants, marketing, brand, and administrative teams to ensure consistency and alignment across all events.
  • Support internal communication needs, budget coordination, and asset management.
  • Assist in developing event collateral, presentations, and recaps to share outcomes and successes across the business.

Reporting & Post-Event Analysis

  • Maintain event analytics, attendance metrics, and engagement dashboards.
  • Support post-event ROI analysis, feedback collection, and insight reporting to guide future strategy.
  • Manage post-event organization including inventory tracking, shipment returns, and supply restocking.

Research & Development

  • Explore emerging events, venues, and vendors aligned with Marvell's evolving business priorities.
  • Support proposal development and sourcing for new trade show and event opportunities in upcoming fiscal years.

What We're Looking For

Experience: 2-4 years of experience in event planning, trade shows, or marketing operations. Technology or semiconductor industry experience preferred.
Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
Skills & Competencies:
Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, Cvent, or similar event management tools.
Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborative mindset with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 25%)

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

70,400 - 105,400, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
