Job Title: Developer - IV

Location: Richmond, VA

Design and Implementation:

Automation Strategy:

• Develop and implement an automation strategy from collaborating with Subject matter experts

• Write Python scripts and Ansible playbooks to automate workflows
• Develop reusable Ansible roles and modules for common tasks.

• Integrate various workflows using REST APIs and webhooks.

• Monitor automation workflows and ensure they are running as expected.
• Set up alerts and notifications for critical issues.

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to automation scripts and playbooks.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.

• Create and maintain detailed documentation for automation scripts, playbooks, and procedures.
• Document incident responses and resolutions.

• Work closely with application teams, network engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions.

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.

• ServiceNow: Understanding of Service Now Catalog, Experience with ServiceNow APIs and scripting
• Python: Experience with Python scripting for automation tasks.
• Ansible: Strong experience with Ansible for configuration management and orchestration.
• Version Control: Proficiency with version control systems like Git.

• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to work independently. Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts in different disciplines.

• Bachelor's Degree: In Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or 5 years of related experience in the field.

• Relevant Certifications: Certifications in the fields of: Service Now Catalog, Ansible, Java Script, Python

• Years of Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation efforts
• Hands-On Experience: Strong experience in automating workflows using Python, Ansible, Java Script
• CICD platform testing
