The ideal candidate will located near Jasper, IN and work primarily from of our headquarters.
Position Overview: Partner with Key Brand and Global Operations members to provide decision support (suggestions, information, knowledge) that helps make decisions to drive operating performance, lower costs, and increase profits. Responsibilities: * Own financial analysis for new product introductions/projects and comparing product introduction tollgate information to actual results. Partner with sales, marketing and operational teams to understand differences in costs and profits and take actions to improve * Ensure accuracy and integrity of cost data for all products. Partner with operational managers to ensure accurate BOM's and routings. * Update as needed standard costs/rates in the operating systems (e.g., SAP & SysPro) * Own financial support of EC process * Own financial support for VE Operational Excellence * Partner with SM Commercial Finance WP&H for financial support to quote teams, RFP analysis, and other product profitability needs * Partner with IMO team to provide financial analysis on synergy projects * Provide insight on product profitability trends, and surfacing product areas that need further attention * Coach, mentor, and develop team members * Support compliance including SOX guidelines, assessment requirements, and audit requirements * Lead/participate in efforts to standardize processes and information * Participate in process changes, eliminate/reduce non-value added activities, improve value added activities, and search for continuous improvement * Seek continuous training/education to enhance skills Skills to Perform This Role: Interpersonal Skills * Open and transparent interaction * Self-motivated, creative, and innovative, with an entrepreneurial mindset * Able to work with a variety of cultures, situations, and people * Excellent collaboration and team building skills * Ability to influence and execute projects at multiple levels within the organization * Analytical and detailed oriented Communication Skills * Strong listening, presentation, and verbal skills * Ability to interact across multiple functional areas and levels within the organization Leadership Skills * Trust and transparency * Pursuit of growth, personal and organizational * Commitment to long-term success * Executes, follows through and achieves results * Model the KII purpose and culture Business Skills * Good business understanding and acumen * Highly organized and ability to prioritize * Strong relationship management skills * Excellent decision-making ability Technical Skills * Working knowledge in SAP * Experience working in Excel and Microsoft Office applications * Understanding of how costs flow through the P&L and balance sheet |
