SUMMARY
Reporting to the Public Property Administrator within the Department of Assets and Infrastructure (A&I), this position is responsible for the coordination of Montgomery County's transportation operations and vehicle fleet management. The incumbent will serve as the coordinator of the employee and tenant parking programs along with the Parking Supervisor.
Other responsibilities include creating and implementing policy and the management of operations. Incumbent will address fleet needs and maintenance across the county.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitates maintenance and repairs of county garages.
Ensures vehicle regulatory compliance.
Manages Fleet staff.
Time and attendance as needed for staff.
Coordinates recruitment and onboarding of Fleet staff.
Utilizes Fleet software and databases.
Along with Parking Supervisor, administers county parking program.
Develops, updates and reports on the transportation and fleet budget.
Tracks, schedules and processes contracted fleet repairs and maintenance.
Tracks fleet assets within county-wide asset management system.
Assists in purchase transfer and salvage of fleet vehicles.
Manages fuel card program.
Works to enact policy for fleet utilization across county departments.
Coordinates a staggered staff in-person office days across county departments.
Processes and tracks auto insurance claims.
Invoices parking tenants and tracks payments.
EZ Pass administration, tracking and coordination.
Support inclusive workplace that fosters the development of others, facilitates cooperation and teamwork, and supports constructive resolution of conflicts.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree or minimum five (5) years administrative experience in Public Works field.
Excellent computer skills.

Experience in office management and personnel supervision.
Experience in budget preparation and budget maintenance.
Knowledge of commercial leases and lease language.
