UPS Peak Support Leadership are responsible for high level oversight and execution of daily RXO operations within the various Peak networks. They are responsible for immediately addressing and resolving any issues with RXO carriers as well as internal and UPS leadership. Leaders will work to develop and drive operational compliance and strategy throughout Peak Season. All leaders must understand not only the importance of service, but also complete transparency with UPS. They must have extensive market knowledge, be able to communicate clearly and effectively both internally and externally, while providing feedback to Coordinators and promoting best practices. Leaders will be expected to be flexible and adjust their work schedules to the needs of the operation. DAILY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES (include, but not limited to): Attend scheduled training workshops to get acclimated with UPS Peak Season project, in-office operational framework, and standardized processes as well as Peak Manager training Develop an all-encompassing understanding of the UPS-RXP partnership & Peak Season operations from a regional and national perspective Manage daily operations of their respective Peak network Develop/manage staffing schedule for 24/7 coverage and communicate to reps accordingly Manage daily volume and take responsibility to ensure all routes are both covered and serviced properly Work with designated UPS ad hoc counterpart to promote ad hoc acceptance, consolidate requests and assign coverage as needed Monitor both internal and external phone calls/emails in a timely, effective, and professional manner using the appropriate method of communication Identify potential problems and effectively provide solutions; escalate as needed In concert with Capacity Manager, address any issues of carrier non-compliance with underlying carriers and add/remove offending carriers when needed Coach reps through potential problems and situations Continue communication with UPS Management post-Peak to address any outstanding issues/needs REPORTS TO: District Manager, Special Projects Do Well, Be Well Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage Retirement 401(k) featuring employer match Health Savings Account (HSA) & Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Industry-leading mental health resources Complimentary membership to Peloton Access to LinkedIn Learning for continuous skill enhancement Paid time off and paid parental and disability leave 3 paid community service days annually Important Notice to US Applicants: Coyote is an at-will employer.
