Job Overview The Social Media Manager is responsible for end-to-end Social Media content strategy from briefing to execution and influencer/talent/brand partnerships. Influential cross-functional collaboration with Merchants, Integrated Marketing, Creative, Paid Media and external agencies to ensure pertinent information is communicated and executed appropriately. Essential Functions
- Manage all deliverables, logistics and communications for organic social content
- Maintain and evolve our organic social media strategy across platforms
- Pull and analyze metrics using analytics tool and provide recaps to key stakeholders, inclusive of senior leadership
- Own content planning, timelines and milestones
- Publish all content across channels and responsible for quality assurance of daily posting
- Responsible for delivery of all assets on deadline & support plans for company initiatives, priorities and partnerships
- Create, manage and execute IG/FB paid boosting strategy
- Vet and manage influencer and talent partnerships
- Facilitate scope of work and act as Bloomingdale's main point of contact for social media CMS, 24/7 monitoring agency & influencer vetting platforms
- Forecast and manage social media budget, contracts and services
- Navigate new opportunities for social channels and creative; testing new assets & platforms
- Execute social media audits when needed and act as main point of contact for legal reviews
Qualifications and Competencies
- Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university.
- 5+ years related experience.
- Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner.
- Excellent leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels.
- Ability to think creatively, strategically and technically.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs.
- Strong project management experience, including timeline & process creation and deadline enforcement.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms.
- Proficient in Sprinklr or similar publishing/analytics social tool.
