Responsible for performing sterilization procedures on medical instruments and equipment in accordance established procedures, infection control standards, industry standards, recommended practices on sterilization and regulatory requirements.
Essential Functions -Processes specialty and general instruments. -Resets instrument sets without error. -Decontaminates instruments and equipment according to procedure. -Maintain Central Sterile Department stock levels. -Prepares and assembles surgical tray and equipment following established tray listings for issue, storage, or further processing. -Communicates instrument repair needs to supervisor. Education We are currently hiring a per diem Central Sterile Tech to work on site at our Salem NH location! Shifts available are 10 am to 6 pm or 12 pm to 8 pm.
