Job Description

Position Overview

The Senior Student Services Coordinator plays a vital role in advancing the Trulaske Strategic Pillar of Experience-Centered Learning. By weaving together a distinctive learning model with immersive, hands-on experiences, this position directly contributes to creating the Trulaske Advantage. The coordinator provides essential support in managing academic courses, assisting students, staff, and faculty, and ensuring the smooth delivery of experiential programming that prepares students for success.

Key Responsibilities

Course Management and Coordination
* Oversee scheduling, planning, and enrollment for BA1500, BA2500, BA3500, BA4500, AACE, Career Pathways, and other future experience-centered learning courses.
* Create and manage student course sections, ensuring balanced distribution.
* Collaborate with the Registrar's Office and Mizzou Online to process course or class adjustments.
* Contact students who have not enrolled in required courses.
* Coordinate and monitor course evaluations.
* Collect and organize syllabi each semester.
* Manage peer teaching review processes.

Instructor Support and Payroll
* Oversee course and lab instructor documentation and processing.
* Process pay requests following the add/drop deadline to ensure accurate compensation.
* Prepare and manage offer letters and extra compensation forms.
* Calculate instructor payroll and submit payroll spreadsheets to HR.
* Communicate payroll adjustments and updates as needed.
* Notify HR regarding instructor leave status or termination.

Student Supervision and Office Administration
* Supervise and schedule student employees and define responsibilities.
* Provide general office support, including assisting students, managing phone and email communications, and addressing administrative needs.

Program and Event Coordination
* Coordinate Career Pathways and other college-wide experiential learning logistical details, including travel, company visits, application processes, and program development.
* Plan and support Trulaske conferences and competitions such as the Trulaske Digital Marketing Challenge and Top Tiger. Responsibilities include scheduling, securing speakers, managing registration, and overseeing logistics (catering, name tags, presentation materials, etc.).
* Assist with EDGE event coordination, collaborating with alumni, guest speakers, and companies for experiential programming.
* Support company visits and related experiential opportunities.

Data Management
* Track and maintain data related to EDGE programming and other experience-centered learning activities.

Other Responsibilities
* Perform additional duties as assigned to support the evolving needs of the college and its experience-centered learning initiatives.

Qualifications
* Strong organizational and administrative skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience in student services, academic coordination, or event management preferred.

Shift

40 Hours per Week

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $52,915.20 - $65,000.00

Grade: GGS 10
