Position Title: Lathe Programmer
Salary: $62,400-$72,800 per year We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Lathe Programmer to join a precision manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong programming and setup experience on CNC lathes and be open to expanding their skill set by learning tube bending operations. This position offers the opportunity to work on short-run, high-quality parts in a collaborative and safety-focused environment. This is a direct hire position located in Kanas City, MO. Lathe Programmer Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Machine Setup: Set up CNC machines for production runs, including loading programs, setting tools, and adjusting machine parameters. - Programming: Create and modify CNC programs to optimize machine performance and meet production specifications. - Lathe Operation: Operate CNC lathes with precision and expertise; experience with mills is a plus. - Short-Run Operations: Perform 1-2 setups and manage short-run operations, ensuring efficiency and quality. - Quality Assurance: Inspect and verify parts to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards. - Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve machine issues, making adjustments as necessary to maintain production flow. - Collaboration: Work closely with other machinists, engineers, and production staff to ensure smooth operations. - Safety Leadership: Promote and enforce safety protocols, maintaining a safe work environment. - Documentation: Keep accurate records of setups, production runs, and any modifications made to programs.
