Additional Compensation Details:

  • $21.00 -$23.00 per hour
  • Potential 90-day performance-based raise
  • Yearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure
Job Description

Schedule

4:00am - 12:30pm with flexibility to change, and/or until job is completed

Must be available to work Sundays/weekends

The Role

The purpose of this position is to audit products and processes during food production, which includes receiving product and ensure all teams adhere to company standards and specifications.

Essential Responsibilities Include, and Are Not Limited To:

  • Conducts line audits to verify compliance to standards and regulatory agencies
  • Completes production line checks before, during, and after production
  • Verifiespackaging, labeling, lot coding, and ingredients for all production and kitchen
  • Validates pre-shipment review
  • Perform daily ATP swabs to verify sanitation
  • Audits GMPs and conducts training
  • Understands and follows material hold release program
  • Effectively uses Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Follows GMP's at all times and enforces compliance
  • Team Member of the Safety Committee
  • Potential exposure to allergens

  • Communicate food safety updateseffectively upstream and downstream with all departments
  • Deep commitment to quality
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Provide quality and Food Safety training to production employees
  • Actively engage in continuous improvement activities
  • Act as back up for other QA Technicians
  • HACCP trained
Qualifications

    Required Experience:

    • Must have 6+ months previous experience with Quality Assurancein a food processing facility or similar environment
    • Must have the ability to work in refrigerated environment, 35 - 45 degrees
    • Ability to read/write/speak in English
    • Work without direct supervision and to prioritize activities under pressure
    • Multitask in fast-paced environment
    • Ability to pass pre-employment drug test

    Preferred Skills and Experience

    • HACCP certifications and/or training
