The Opportunity

Adobe's Americas Digital Media business is valued at over $4B and continues to grow at more than 20% annually. Within this group, the Digital Media Education Sales Team plays a critical role in driving acquisition, growth, and retention across our largest K-12 and Higher Education customers for Creative Cloud and Document Cloud.

As Adobe evolves its B2B sales strategy, this team will lead the way in defining and implementing the next generation of growth across the Digital Media portfolio-serving students, teachers, faculty, and staff.

The Director of Digital Media Americas Sales will be responsible for shaping and executing the go-to-market (GTM) strategy that supports annual education growth goals across the Americas. Once the strategy is defined, this senior leader will develop and deliver the plans needed to achieve those goals. The role includes leading a team of sales professionals focused on named accounts and driving new business through expanded marketing and outreach efforts.

What you'll Do
  • Engage daily with leaders and sales representatives to maintain insight into challenges and opportunities.
  • Assess pipeline, sales activity, and forecasts to ensure progress and focus on areas that drive success.
  • Coach managers and sales teams on key sales skills, including market development, prospecting, and complex deal negotiations.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of business performance and deliver accurate forecasts during weekly and quarterly reviews.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Education GTM, Operations, Marketing, and BU teams to resolve challenges and align on vision, strategy, and approach for continued B2B success in education.
  • Define and present progress against broader strategies and growth opportunities to senior leadership on a quarterly basis.
  • Attract, develop, and retain top talent.
What you need to succeed
  • 10+ years of software sales management experience, ideally focused on SaaS-based offerings across business and education sectors.
  • Proven ability to consistently generate revenue and exceed quota by delivering effective processes for identifying, qualifying, and closing new business, while also driving growth within existing accounts.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and performing account plans across K-12 and Higher Education, with experience cultivating strategic relationships and negotiating both volume and complex deals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire confidence at the executive level.
  • Strong analytical skills, with comfort and competence in using data to assess business health and guide decision-making.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $310,900 -- $502,800 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
