Position Summary:

We are seeking a creative, highly organized, and detail-oriented Corporate Communications Specialist to join our team. This dynamic role plays a vital part in shaping and delivering both internal and external communications that reflect the company's brand, culture, and strategic priorities, which includes writing, editing, and distributing material for internal newsletters, intranet site, corporate communicators, company-wide emails, and external sites (including corporate websites and LinkedIn). A core function of the role is the day-to-day management of the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, ensuring media resources are consistently organized and readily available.

Responsibilities:



  • Content Creation & Distribution:

    • Write, edit, and proofread content for a variety of internal communications, including newsletters, company-wide emails, and intranet articles. Conduct professional interviews and research for articles and content.
    • Manage distribution of newsletters, emails, and other communication channels to reach our global and domestic employee base.

  • Digital Asset Management:

    • Manage the day-to-day operations of a digital asset management (DAM) system, ensuring all assets are properly organized, tagged, and easily accessible.

  • Internal Messaging:

    • Develop and send Company Communicator Teams messages and "postcards" to employees using approved distribution lists.

  • Website Copywriting and Social Media Posts:

    • Write, edit, and proofread content for Hunt's external websites and Linked pages, ensuring consistency with brand voice and messaging.
    • Monitor website content and recommend updates to improve clarity, accuracy, and engagement.

  • Event & Project Support:

    • Assist in planning and execution of internal photo shoots, video shoots, and company-wide events.
    • Coordinate logistics and provide on-site support to ensure smooth execution.

  • Department Coordination:

    • Provide administrative and operational support to the Corporate Communications team, including scheduling, documentation, and vendor coordination.
    • Creates and maintains monthly departmental spreadsheet and shared content calendar.



Required Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a corporate communications or internal communications department or similar role, preferably within the oil and gas or energy sector.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with digital communication platforms and content management systems. Experience with a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system is preferred.
  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams and its communication features.
  • Experience with Staffbase intranet platform is a plus.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
