About the Role
Join Zipcar's UX team as a UX Design Co-op! This role is ideal for a student eager to gain hands-on experience in Product and UX Design. You'll contribute to real projects, collaborate with a mission-driven team, and grow professionally in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

What You'll Do

  • Plan, build, and refine accessible, reusable components for the global Zipcar Design System
  • Write design system documentation with do / don't guidance and patterns
  • Collaborate across teams with Product Managers, Engineers, Marketing, etc.
  • Conduct and assist in UX research
  • Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and animation
  • Contribute in UX critiques, giving and receiving feedback

What You'll Learn

  • Industry-standard tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Lyssna, etc.) to design, test, and iterate
  • Professional communication and workflow tools (e.g., Slack, Agile)
  • Real-world exposure to product development, design, and research
  • How Zipcar operates in the shared mobility space

What We're Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a degree in UX Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
  • Eager to learn and contribute
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skill
  • Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Minimum GPA: 3.0

Good-Faith Salary Range:

The hourly rate for this position is between $20-24 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
