Category Analyst - Corporate Services: The Indirect Procurement Category Analyst be responsible for driving and maintaining indirect procurement initiatives that meet Univar Solutions Indirect Procurement objectives as directed by the Indirect Procurement Category managers. This role will be instrumental in collaborating with all the functional areas in the organization to ensure sourcing initiatives and programs yield the expected results, suppliers and vendor perform at the agreed levels and ensures business continuity. The Category Analyst will be responsible for leading Indirect Procurement Sourcing and cost reduction activities, monitor and improve agreement utilization and reporting while providing the daily support needed by the internal and external customers. Specifically, the Category Analyst will support the Indirect Procurement Category managers with the execution and implementation of the category strategy and related activities including but not limited to spend analysis (opportunity identification and compliance), market analysis, RFI/RFQ/RFP preparation and management, review and negotiate contracts and agreements, and supplier relationship management.
