Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Front Office Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing excellent patient care and administrative support. Key Responsibilities * Greet and triage patients upon arrival * Schedule appointments and manage patient flow * Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR) using EMR systems * Communicate effectively with clinical staff including nurses and physicians * Support both front and back office operations as needed * Assist in urgent care settings and inpatient/ambulatory coordination * Provide bilingual support (Spanish preferred) to enhance patient experience Required Skills * Triage and patient intake * EMR/EHR proficiency (NexGen preferred) * Appointment scheduling and healthcare documentation * Strong communication and customer service skills * Ability to multitask and remain organized in a clinical setting Preferred Qualifications * Experience in both front and back office medical assistant duties * Familiarity with urgent care workflows * Bilingual in Spanish * Knowledge of healthcare terminology and clinical procedures Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
