Department (CORP) HRI AlbanyJob Description: Responsibilities Are you looking to grow your career in Human Resources and eager to gain practical experience in employee benefits and leave administration? Health Research, Inc. (HRI) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join the Benefits Team as a Human Resources Administrator I. In this role, you will play an active part in delivering benefits and leave programs that support the well-being of HRI's workforce. You will assist with answering benefit-related inquiries, processing enrollments and changes, and assist with compliance efforts. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting the administration of various leave programs, including New York State Disability, Paid Family Leave, Family Medical Leave, and Workers' Compensation. Beyond these core duties, you will be responsible for contributing to administrative tasks and special projects that keep the Benefits Team and the broader Human Resources Department running efficiently. This is a great opportunity to build valuable experience in benefits and leave administration, collaborate with a supportive and talented Human Resources Team, and contribute to meaningful work that directly supports all HRI employees across the organization. Minimum Qualifications A bachelor's degree in a related field; OR an associate's degree in a related field and two years of relevant experience; OR four years of relevant experience. Conditions of Employment Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required. Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. The selected candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the official work location specified in the job posting and must also be located in or willing to relocate to one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, or Massachusetts, prior to hire.
