As a
Systems Engineer
(SE) with MTSI you will enable mission-critical capabilities for a customer essential to the national security of the United States. Responsibilities include:
* Analyze user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements and specification.
* Analyze system requirements and lead design and development activities.
* Guide users in formulating requirements, advise alternate approaches, and conduct feasibility studies.
* Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
* Incorporate new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations.
* Develop technical documentation.
* Develop system architecture and system design documentation.
* Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
* Interact with the government regarding systems engineering technical considerations and for associated opportunities, problems, issues, or conflicts.
* Ensure the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the systems engineering area of responsibility.
* Communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
Qualifications:
*
Senior Systems Engineer - 20+ years of experience
as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
*
Principal Systems Engineer - 14+ years of experience
as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
* Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. (Note: Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.)
Exceptional integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to upholding MTSI's core values is required.
* Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required.
* Demonstrated experience related to software development and AWS cloud migration services is highly desired.
Clearance Requirements

TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
*
Active Full Scope Polygraph (Desired).
*
U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
