Overview

This is a full-time, hybrid career opportunity based out of our Corporate Headquarters location in Lancaster, PA.

The primary responsibilities of this role are to lead financial systems processing activities, serve as a functional expert of the systems, identify and implement process improvement and support automation efforts. The incumbent in this role will provide system support, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with Finance and IT teams to maintain and enhance system performance.



Responsibilities

    Lead financial systems processing activities, including daily and monthly GL Postings, data migration, validation and purge activities, perform troubleshooting and issue resolution, and complete selective maintenance reviews in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls and procedures.
  • Serve as functional financial systems expert on all finance applications including or similar to Prologue, Essbase and BlackLine.
  • Create and maintain accounts and reports for financial reporting, consistent with requirements from accounting and in accordance with change management standards.
  • Create and execute systems testing in support of upgrades and implementations, review all new release documentations, identify potential issues and make recommendations for solutions, engage internal and external stakeholders, report testing results to management.
  • Partner with Accounting to help generate specific reporting for SEC, FRB and FDIC reporting, including the weekly FR2900, weekly FR2644, quarterly call report and quarterly Y-9. Assist in the preparation and delivery of period reports to the Board of Directors.
  • Identify and implement business process improvements that enable automation, increase productivity, streamline processes, promote efficiencies and reduce technical complexity.
  • Evaluate project-related requests by thoroughly analyzing information, coordinating across people, processes, systems, and technologies, and making informed strategic decisions on scope, impact, policies, and implementation plans.
  • Develop, document and maintain internal controls and procedures with internal requirements and regulatory compliance (SOX). Assist manager in making sure all documented procedures and controls are current.
  • Develop strong working relationships with accounting and finance teams to gain additional insights for analysis and data validation and understand evolving information needs.
  • Provide technical support to financial systems end users, develop and maintain training materials, user updates and bulletins, resolve technical issues or escalate as required.
  • Ensure the documentation of systems and financial processes is properly developed and maintained.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Act as a consultant on more complex projects providing system expertise and process related support.
  • Assist and support the Finance team with enhancements to monthly close processes/procedures; prioritize requests to support the team.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and diagnose data quality issues by drilling down complex data structures to extract the root cause.
  • Actively contribute to strategic projects that may have a significant impact to the business.


Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Accounting, Computer Science, or other applicable. (Required)

Experience

3 or more years Accounting operations or systems. (Required)

1 or more years Accounting. (Preferred)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

This role may perform other job duties as assigned by the manager. Pay Transparency

To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base salary ranges on all job postings regardless of state. We set standard salary ranges for our roles based on the position, function, and responsibilities, as benchmarked against similarly sized companies in our industry. Specific compensation offered will be determined based on a combination of factors including the candidate's knowledge, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials. The salary range may vary based on geographic location.

The salary range for this position is $63,000.00 - $105,000.00 annually.

Additional Compensation Components

This job is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive compensation plan subject to individual and company performance.
