Description Monitors and evaluates individual and team performance, delivering regular updates to the Sr Director of Mortgage Operations concerning overall process efficiency, productivity, and achievement of objectives. Supports the development and communication of operational goals for the processing team, ensuring alignment with the business objectives of the Mortgage Team. Monitors and evaluates the processing team KPI's in accordance with the overall Mortgage Team goals and objectives. Provides support in recommending and implementing innovative methods, procedures, and operating systems to enhance operational efficiency. Ensures adherence to both state and federal regulations, establishes quality control procedures, and stays current with guidelines for loan products. Oversees the workflow by monitoring loan file progress, assigning tasks based on team capacity, and ensuring timely distribution to the processing team. Collaborates with the Learning and Development team and other departmental managers to support onboarding initiatives for new employee training. Addresses customer concerns and consistently upholds exemplary service standards during all stages of the loan process. Maintains current knowledge of emerging technologies and advancements within the mortgage industry and attends training sessions as required to ensure continued professional development. Qualifications Behaviors Team Player - Works well as a member of a group Detail Oriented - Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well Education High School (required) Experience 5 years: 5+ years of mortgage lending experience with experience in processing and credit evaluation. (required) Broad knowledge of and practical experience with credit union or other financial institution operating areas, functions, products and services and the applicable laws and regulations. (preferred) Demonstrated ability to build teamwork across the company. (required) Experience utilizing Mortgage LOS Encompass, MeridianLink and Symitar.
