In the role of Section Team Lead, we'll count on you to: Lead and Empower: Oversee operations and staff for the ICT Security section focusing on team development, technical excellence, and project delivery. Shape Smart, Secure Environments: Manage the design of integrated security and communications systems including structured cabling, access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and network infrastructure ensuring they connect seamlessly within intelligent building systems. Collaborate Across Disciplines: Partner closely with architects, MEP, and civil engineers, and technology designers to create coordinated, future-ready solutions. Champion Digital Resilience: Integrate cybersecurity principles into physical security and ICT network designs to strengthen building system reliability and protection. Guide Projects and Clients: Serve as a trusted technical advisor for commercial, industrial, and government clients from concept through delivery helping them make informed decisions about technology and security infrastructure. Drive Growth and Visibility: Support marketing and business development efforts, develop proposals, and represent HDR's ICT expertise in client meetings, presentations, and industry forums. Develop Talent: Mentor and coach team members, foster knowledge-sharing, and build a culture of continuous learning and innovation. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 7 years experience
- Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Ability to handle multiple assignments
- Good leadership and organizational skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
