Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our team as anAssociate Life and Waiver Examiner! About the role In this role, you'll review and process Group Life, AD&D, and Waiver of Premium claims. You'll ensure accurate decisions and payments, verify eligibility, and provide compassionate service to policyholders and beneficiaries. What You Will Do Evaluate claims based on policy provisions and regulatory requirements. Communicate with policyholders and beneficiaries to gather documentation. Maintain clear, defensible claim records. Issue accurate payments and conduct annual reviews for waiver claims. Collaborate with legal and medical teams when needed. Check out our Symetra Benefits Overview Compensation Hourly Range: $22.00 - $29.98 plus eligibility for annual bonus program Who You Are High school diploma required. 1+ years of experience preferred. Medical background a plus. Strong attention to detail and time management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team. Comfort with multiple systems and willingness to learn.
