As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Control in Denver, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will be stationed at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, helping to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and monitoring of assigned areas. Your presence and attention to detail will help maintain a secure environment for personnel and assets. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain security-related procedures.
• Verify the identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises, following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and delivery personnel with access-related inquiries and directions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related incidents and observe for unusual activity.
• Document and report any suspicious activities, incidents, or policy violations in accordance with established procedures.
• Assist in emergency response activities as needed, including following evacuation or lock-down protocols.
• Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to support a secure and orderly environment at the logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
