This Position reports to:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of systems and services within a designated market, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.

The work model for the role is: onsite.
This role is contributing to the PAEN business area in Hungary. Main stakeholders are Oil&Gas, Chemical, Pharma, Utilities, Pulp&Paper customers.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Provide technical advice to customers and sales engineers regarding ABB products, systems, and applications
  • Support the sales of ABB's globally leading 800xA DCS systems to our partners in the pharmaceutical, power generation, and oil industries
  • Manage the preparation of offers from a technical (e.g., defining the most suitable technology and product type), financial (e.g., full price list, cash-flow analysis), and project management perspective (e.g., calculating time for engineering and commissioning), while ensuring the best available product selection and consideration of technical and commercial aspects
  • Ensure tender documentation is submitted on time and in appropriate detail, including total and estimated costs
  • During offer preparation, ensure that modifications are implemented on time and in accordance with established quality procedures
  • Support the continuous growth of sales revenue and customer satisfaction

Qualifications for the role:
  • University degree in IT or engineering - preferably in electrical engineering
  • Previous experience in sales support
  • A strong customer-first mindset
  • Motivation to learn and develop
  • Ability to tolerate repetitive tasks
  • Confident use of English (written and spoken)
  • Valid category B driving license
  • Advantage: familiarity with control and automation technologies
