This Position reports to:

Are you a strategic commercial leader with a passion for customer success, business growth, and operational excellence? As ABB Motion transitions to a division-led operating model as part of the ABB Way, the Local Division Manager plays a critical leadership role. This position holds full responsibility for leading sales, marketing, and the portfolio in the local market, ensuring that the division's strategy is executed in a customer-centric and effective way.

Your Impact:

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the full commercial performance of the local division-including revenue growth, customer acquisition, and P&L. You'll lead a high-performing team to execute the division's go-to-market strategy, drive sales excellence, and deliver sustainable, profitable growth.

You'll ensure local alignment with global strategies while promoting cross-divisional collaboration when commercially relevant. Your focus includes resource productivity, efficient cost structure, and continuous portfolio development-all while ensuring integrity, safety, and a culture of performance.

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will act as the Local Division Manager for Drive Products, leading Drive Products division organization in France. You will be responsible for Sales & Marketing activities and operational accountabilities by enabling the organization to achieve its mid- and long-term strategic targets through strong leadership.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Developing and sustaining a customer-centric culture within the organization and across different teams and functions. Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure superior customer experience
  • Building, leading and developing a high-performing team(s) and organization. Developing talents and managing successfully people capabilities and strategies
  • Ensuring development of business and financial performance targets in line with Global Division Strategy and achievement through developing and executing local plans
  • Driving local P&L (OR, OR/Rev GM, Sales Costs), aligning sales costs with business priorities. Overseeing Marketing planning and pricing strategy.
  • Demonstrating deep understanding of the relevant market segments, competition landscape and our market positioning
  • Identifying long term growth ambition and evaluating growth opportunities with existing and potential customers and determining plans for implementation
  • Enabling entire organization to achieve ambitious growth targets.
  • Monitoring sales performance, proactively, ensuring the development and implementation of corrective actions to secure business growth when needed
  • Ensuring strong leadership, people management, and communication across all levels to achieve the sales targets, through high performance.
  • Leading change initiatives and driving transformation across the organization.
  • Implementing HSE and business compliance standards and regulations within the unit. Live the ABB values and group standards

Qualifications for the role

  • Leadership skills with a growth mindset, ability to develop and lead diverse teams
  • Proven experience in go-to-market strategy and sales development
  • Excellent market knowledge and sharp business development skills
  • Deep understanding of industrial markets, customer needs, and growth levers with a background of Motion business
  • Demonstrated leadership, people management, and change management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire.
  • Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
