This Position reports to:

Production Manager
Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team within a Production unit or line to execute production processes, transforming parts and raw materials into ABB products in a timely and cost-effective manner. Each day, you will ensure continuous and efficient operation in accordance with volumes, schedules, procedures, drawings, and quality and safety standards and policies. You will also showcase your expertise by organizing and allocating resources to meet line production targets effectively and efficiently.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Organize and implement workshop production plans:1) Based on the company's production plan, organize and formulate the production operation plan for the workshop;
    2) Responsible for organizing and arranging production work according to the plan to ensure production progress;
    3) Allocate personnel and equipment rationally, adjust production layout and workload, and improve production efficiency.
    4) Conduct daily workshop meetings and coordinate all workshop operations comprehensively;
    5) Supervise and guide the production process while conducting quality control to ensure production quality;
    6) Supervise and inspect the work of workshop employees, issue warnings and provide corrective guidance to those who violate rules or discipline;
    7) Participate in the analysis of product quality issues, develop and implement corrective and preventive measures;
    8) Monitor and inspect self-inspection and mutual inspection during the production process to prevent defective products from moving to the next stage.
  • Production Site Management:
    1) Establish on-site management systems and provide guidance and training on on-site management knowledge;
    2) Promote the 5S on-site management system to achieve standardized management in production workshops;
    3) Conduct timely assessments of workshop employees' 5S implementation, enforce rewards and penalties, and ensure the effective execution of the system.
    4) Responsible for implementing the company's production safety regulations and conducting regular safety inspections;
    5) Control key and critical areas to eliminate safety hazards and prevent accidents;
    6) Conduct regular safety production training and education to guide employees in safe operations.
  • Workshop Production Cost Control:
    1) Conduct statistical analysis of daily production in the workshop to identify areas for improvement and enhance production efficiency;
    2) Conduct statistical analysis of workshop cost consumption and develop actionable cost control measures.
  • Other tasks:
    1) Responsible for coordinating relations with other relevant departments and collaborating with them on work execution;
    2) Timely communicate with superiors and other departments to resolve unexpected incidents during the production process;
    3) Complete other tasks assigned by the leadership
    4) Purchase relevant production operation tools
Qualifications for the role
  • Academic Qualifications and Experience
    1) - College degree or above in Mechanical Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or related majors;
    2) - Over 5 years of experience in the motor or assembly industry, with at least 2 years in production management;
  • Skill Requirements
    1) - Proficient in production planning and scheduling, process flow optimization, and on-site management methods;
    2) - Proficient in using SAP software and familiar with ERP/MES system operations;
    3) - Possess the ability to apply basic quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA).
  • Core Competencies
    1) Strong logical analysis and problem-solving abilities;
    2) Excellent communication and coordination skills, capable of cross-departmental collaboration;
    3) Strong stress resistance and quick adaptation to fast-paced production environments.
