This Position reports to: Design ManagerYour role and responsibilities We are looking for a talented Principal Control Software Engineer to join our team at ABB, High Power division's R&D organization in Pitajanmaki, Helsinki. You will be working as control software chief designer for a key R&D project. In this role, you will have the opportunity to initiate and drive technology and software development in converter control for new products and state-of-the-art semiconductors. Within the first six months, we expect you to create and update the projects build plan and implement critical technology demonstrators together with the team. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting strategic corporate technology management and future solution architecture. This role is contributing to the Motion High Power in Pitajanmaki, Helsinki, Finland. Main stakeholders are project chief designer, control architect and the team of control SW experts.
