Summary
Responsible for performing advanced tasks in the sterile processing department within a healthcare facility. Patient Care Requirement No Essential Functions Receive and process used medical instruments and equipment from operating rooms and other departments. Load instruments and equipment into sterilizers, adhering to prescribed loading patterns and protocols. Perform regular quality checks to ensure instruments, equipment, and packaging materials comply with sterilization standards. Manage inventory levels, including receiving, inspecting, and restocking sterile supplies. Clean, maintain, and troubleshoot sterilization equipment and instruments.
