About the position:

Are you a Business Analyst who wants to work with Application Developers and Project Managers to make all that happen? If you're an experienced Business System Analyst with demonstrated success leading cross-functional project teams to deliver technology solutions, we'd like to meet you.

The Business System Analyst is responsible for effectively leading the development, implementation and maintenance of a company's technology systems. In this role you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and analyze business requirements, provide guidance on system design and capabilities, develop and test necessary software, and implement solutions to meet business objectives. Additionally, the Business System Analyst will supervise and support initiatives, ensuring project delivery on time, within budget, and in accordance with defined quality standards.

This opportunity is hybrid and will be based in Portsmouth, NH. Candidates must be commutable to Portsmouth, NH.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Serve as a liaison between IT departments and business units to understand and bridge their needs with effective technology solutions.


  • Lead the evaluation and redesign of business processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.


  • Develop comprehensive system requirements and project documentation to guide the technical team.


  • Evaluates and provides recommendations for system architecture, design, and capabilities, including the ability to integrate with other systems and applications as needed.


  • Manage complex projects, overseeing timelines, resources, and deliverables.


  • Conduct detailed system testing and lead quality assurance efforts to ensure solutions meet high standards and business requirements.


  • Identifiespotential issues and risks in technologysystems, anddevelops mitigation strategies to minimize impact on business operations.


  • Facilitate high-level meetings and workshops, driving strategic alignment and solution adoption.


  • Providesexpertisein software development, testing, implementation, and maintenance, ensuring that all deliverables are deliveredon-time, within budget, and with high quality.



Requirements:



  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, with a track record of managing complex technology projects.


  • Experience with major enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, SCM).


  • Expertisein software development, testing, implementation, and maintenance.


  • Strong understanding of business processes, requirements gathering and analysis, and project management methodologies.


  • Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.


  • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, capable of influencing key stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams.


  • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.


  • Skills in data analysis, SQL databases, and programming.


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
