Job Description

We are searching for an experienced hands-on Operations & Business Systems Manager for our Huntsville, AL location to oversee the daily operations that support our industrial inkjet printer business. This role combines responsibility for manufacturing, order processing, inventory, purchasing, SAP/business systems, forecasting, IT support, and safety compliance. The manager will also be accountable for facility operations (maintenance, upgrades, and issue resolution) and direct personnel management, including time reporting and schedule adherence.

As Operations & Business Systems Manager, you are responsible for:

  • Manufacturing & Operations- Coordinate production activities to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
  • Order Processing & Fulfillment- Oversee order flow from entry to shipment.
  • Inventory & Purchasing- Maintain accurate stock levels, manage suppliers, and optimize purchasing efficiency.
  • ERP & Business Systems- Administer SAP and related systems, ensuring accurate data and effective use across the team.
  • Forecasting & Planning- Support demand forecasting, capacity planning, and reporting.
  • IT & Software Administration- Provide local IT support for branch operations and system users.
  • Facility Management- Oversee facility maintenance, upgrades, service providers, and issue resolution.
  • Health & Safety- Monitor and enforce safety compliance to meet company and regulatory standards.
  • Personnel Supervision- Manage direct reports, track time reporting, ensure schedule adherence, and foster accountability and teamwork.
Qualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in operations, Business Systems, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4-8 years of experience in operations, manufacturing support, or ERP/business systems management.
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred) and advanced Excel.
  • Experience managing both personnel and facility operations.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills; capable of balancing tactical problem-solving with process improvement.
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
