Salary Range: $99,087 - $118,000 annually (Actual base pay based on factors such as relevant experience, education, market, qualifications, and skills.)

Kyocera International is seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Manager to lead and elevate quality operations at our Hendersonville facility. This is a high-visibility leadership role where you'll drive quality strategy, influence cross-functional teams, and ensure our advanced ceramic products meet the highest standards for performance and reliability.

What You'll Do:
Lead Quality Operations: Manage day-to-day QA activities for the plant, product lines, and programs
Drive Root Cause & Resolution: Investigate and resolve electrical, mechanical, R&D, and prototype-related quality issues
Own the QMS: Ensure compliance and continuous improvement of quality systems (CAPA, audits, change control, documentation)
Audit Leadership: Plan, execute, and report on internal audits; lead corrective actions through closure
Team Leadership: Manage, coach, and develop a team of quality engineers and technicians
Customer Interface: Act as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring requirements and expectations are met
Cross-Functional Influence: Collaborate with production, sales, and engineering to drive quality initiatives
Metrics & Performance: Establish KPIs, monitor trends, and implement action plans to improve quality outcomes
Supplier & Program Oversight: Ensure compliance across contract manufacturers and supplier programs
Calibration Program: Oversee calibration systems, including vendor management and technician development
Executive Reporting: Keep senior leadership informed on quality performance, risks, and initiatives
What You Bring:
We're looking for a proven leader who can step in and make an immediate impact:
Bachelor's degree (Engineering or related field preferred)
8+ years in quality control within manufacturing
5+ years leading quality teams (engineers, technicians, or similar)
Strong expertise in quality systems, audits, and compliance frameworks
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and drive root cause solutions
Experience working with customers and cross-functional teams
Eligibility to work in an ITAR-regulated environment
Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
