Lead the Future of High-Tech Logistics at CAES by Honeywell - Lansdale, PA

Are you an experienced Stockroom Shipping and Receiving Supervisor ready to thrive in a fast-paced, high-tech environment? At CAES by Honeywell, we're looking for a driven leader to take charge of our stockroom operations and help power mission-critical technologies that shape the world.

In this role, you'll oversee all aspects of stockroom operations, including receiving, storage, issuance, and work order kitting of high-technology components. You'll provide leadership, training, and coaching to a dedicated team, fostering a high-performance culture built on collaboration and accountability. Your day-to-day will involve planning, forecasting, reporting, and tracking materials and output to ensure seamless production support. You'll also lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions & Duties
  • Plan, assign, coordinate, and review work of stockroom personnel across all shifts, including weekends

  • Provide direction on inventory handling, storage procedures, and materials management processes

  • Reconcile cycle counts and semi-annual physical inventories; recommend process improvements

  • Enforce company policies, procedures, and systems within assigned areas

  • Evaluate employee performance; recommend hiring and disciplinary actions

  • Approve time off, prepare work schedules, and instruct staff on departmental policies

  • Ensure accurate inventory accounting and resolve discrepancies

  • Implement and maintain focused cells, point-of-use (POU), and supermarket setups

  • Train personnel on quick-response replenishment processes

  • Prioritize kitting activities; monitor releases and audit kits for traceability

  • Review material receipts, cycle count adjustments, and goods issuance

  • Develop and report visual KPIs such as daily and weekly kit release status

  • Use metrics to identify problems, drive improvements, and enhance process control

  • Document and optimize critical processes using tools like value stream mapping and spaghetti analysis

  • Support Lean and Six Sigma initiatives; coordinate and facilitate improvement activities

  • Incorporate ERP process improvements and sustain 5S practices in the work area

  • Foster team collaboration and encourage proactive improvement suggestions

  • Participate in safety training and enforce safety policies

Distinguishing Characteristics
  • Utilize ERP systems to track materials and conduct capacity analysis

  • Lead special projects to improve stockroom efficiency and performance

  • Demonstrate strong leadership by mentoring and influencing others


Qualifications

MINIMUM:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A minimum of 1 year experience working in a stockroom, inventory and/or materials environment; preferably in a high mix/low volume environment with several thousand part numbers and traceability requirements
  • Minimum 1 year experience leading, supervising or managing a team
  • In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a "US Person" under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license) as this role requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearance.

PREFERRED:

  • BS or BA Degree
  • Inventory management in a DoD or other project based environment
  • ABC Inventory implementation and management
  • Warehouse automation (Bar Coding, ASRS, etc.)
  • Experience with Oracle
  • Lean/ Six Sigma Certification
  • CPIM or ORM certification
  • Prior supervisory experience

Salary Range: Supervisor Warehouse: $69,832.66 to $101,325.81. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.
