Studio Photographer (Music)

Our client is seeking an exceptional Photographer to join their innovative team and play a pivotal role in crafting iconic visual narratives that resonate with audiences worldwide. As a Photographer, you will be at the forefront of visual content creation, responsible for producing compelling and original photography from concept to flawless execution. You'll be a versatile talent, adept at both leading and managing complex shoots, as well as independently capturing and producing visual assets with agility and precision. Your work will directly contribute to shaping the visual identity of groundbreaking media, ensuring every image is meaningful, timely, and iconic.

Responsibilities:

• Create original, compelling, and iconic visual assets for diverse media products and platforms.
• Plan, manage, and execute simple to complex photo shoots, often with tight deadlines or little advance notice.
• Shoot and produce visual content independently, demonstrating versatility and a keen eye for detail.
• Collaborate closely with Creative Directors, art directors, and producers to ideate, develop, and deliver assets across all channels.
• Apply advanced understanding of lighting techniques, storytelling, and photographic styles, from portraiture to documentary.
• Perform proficient and quick retouching, including skin, clothing, and silo images, ensuring high-quality output.
• Maintain meticulous digital archiving, file naming, and keywording practices for all visual assets.
• Contribute to the success of projects by bringing a fresh perspective, anticipating change, and reacting efficiently in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of professional experience as a photographer, with a proven track record of developing culture-defining content within the music, events, and/or entertainment landscape.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing expertise in both studio lighting portraiture and reportage photography.
• Deep technical understanding of studio lighting (constant and strobes), mixed lighting, and digital capture equipment.
• Proficiency in photo processing tools, including Capture One, and advanced image editing software like Adobe Photoshop.
• Extensive experience working with notable talent in high-pressure situations, demonstrating comfort and professionalism.
• Exceptional communication, project, and time management skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Ability to lead multiple projects from concept ideation through production and execution.
• Demonstrated ability to work as a motivated self-starter, maintaining composure and efficiency under pressure.
• Unwavering discretion in handling confidential materials.
• Exceptional attention to detail, coupled with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

• Experience assisting established photographers.
• A keen enthusiasm for music, culture, and lifestyle, with an eye for emerging trends in photography.
