DESCRIPTION
Working under general supervision, the Radiologic Technologist performs routine to complex radiographic and fluoroscopic exams using fixed and portable imaging equipment throughout General Diagnostic Radiology, in accordance with established guidelines and protocols. This position requires advanced knowledge of radiologic technology and acts as a Diagnostic subject matter expert and assists other technologists as needed. The technologist must demonstrate and apply knowledge of principles of radiation safety. This role will also prepares and position the patient for the procedure by using established protocols to achieve the highest quality image. The Radiologic Technologist adheres to protocols specified by the Radiologist and accurately enters complex data into the computer system. They review, verify, and evaluate images and radiographs to ensure both technical and diagnostic quality. The role also involves ensuring compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines. This position requires effective communication and conflict resolution skills when interacting with patients, coworkers, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team. Additional responsibilities may include front and back-office support, as well as other duties as assigned to maintain smooth departmental operations. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $119,058 - $119,058 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $57.02 - $57.02 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). |
