Major/Essential Functions The Senior Service Worker will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations and upkeep of the Womble Football Center, practice fields, Sports Performance Center (SPC), and other football-related facilities. This position assists in ensuring that all football facilities are clean, secure, and well-maintained. Facility Cleanliness & Appearance Perform routine upkeep tasks such as painting, touch-ups, and general appearance improvements. Find and make repairs as necessary. Assist with preventative maintenance and minor repair needs. Monitor facility conditions, promptly reporting any damages, hazards, or issues requiring higher-level intervention. Support preparation and readiness of facilities for practices, workouts, and special events. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness across all football facilities, including common areas, locker rooms, and offices. Clean, empty trash, etc. Clean floors. Security & Safety Ensure facilities are properly secured during and after hours. Monitor access to football buildings and practice areas to maintain a safe environment for student-athletes, staff, and visitors. Operational Support Assist in the daily operational needs of football facilities, including field upkeep and event preparation. Provide additional support during periods of high activity, such as game days, recruiting events, or team functions. To include table, chair set-ups, event preparation, etc. Collaborate with the Football Facilities Manager and Athletics staff to uphold the overall standard of excellence expected of Texas Tech Athletics. Required Qualifications Two years work experience is required. Preferred Qualifications Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and take initiative. Strong attention to detail with commitment to cleanliness, safety, and operational excellence. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours as needed for football operations.
