Summary

The MIL Corporationseeks aCCoE Deputy Project Manager (Project Management, Team Lead)to support a Federal Government client at our Ft. Gordon, Georgia location.The CCoE Deputy Project Manager will provide on-site support of the Cyber Center of Excellence (CCoE) Military Construction (MILCON) Team at Fort Gordon, Georgia.

This position currently requires an on-site schedule, with 5 days on-site. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provides project planning and execution support to government program manager
  • Assists with day-to-day operational aspects of the project
  • Performs as a Team Lead for five or less personnel
  • Assists with preparation and reviews deliverables prepared by team
  • Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
  • Tracks and reports team hours and expenses on a weekly basis
  • Facilitates team and client meetings
  • Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change
  • Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions
  • Prepares and presents oral and written reports defining plans, problems, and resolutions to appropriate levels of management

Travel

Ability to travel up to 5% yearly to CONUS sites, as required.

Required Qualifications

  • 10 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of the Cyber Center of Excellence (CCoE) mission and organization
  • Familiarity with Cyber Center of Excellence (CoE) and Ft. Gordon Information Technology (IT) transformation/modernization efforts
  • Familiarity with US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Military Construction (MILCON) program management processes and procedures
  • Experience with virtual desktop infrastructure and trusted thin client design
  • Experience with strategic planning
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and organization skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to interface professionally with individuals at all levels and communicate effectively with project staff and other team members
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)

Education

BA/BS; MA/MS preferred

Clearance

All applicants for this position must possess a currentTop-Secret clearance with ability to obtain a SCI; please note that the clearance process takes into account financial background aspects.

For this position, the projected compensation range is $125,000 - $130,000 per year. This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one part of MIL's complete compensation package.
