Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia, and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for an Engineering Internship. Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated Environmental Engineering Intern to join our Facilities Management Team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in environmental compliance, sustainability initiatives, and engineering support for facility operations. The successful candidate will assist with environmental assessments, regulatory reporting, and energy efficiency projects. This role is ideal for a student passionate about environmental stewardship and engineering problem-solving in a real-world setting. Primary Responsibilities: Conduct site visits to support environmental inspections, monitor compliance with environmental regulations, and assist in identifying opportunities for sustainability improvements. Assist in the development and implementation of waste reduction, water conservation, and energy efficiency programs across facilities. Support environmental permitting and reporting efforts by gathering data, preparing documentation, and ensuring timely submission to regulatory agencies. Collaborate with engineers, facility managers, and external consultants to evaluate environmental risks and recommend mitigation strategies. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate environmental performance, findings, and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders. Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. Strong academic background or experience in environmental regulations (e.g., EPA, DEP), sustainability practices, and environmental impact assessments. Familiarity with tools such as GIS, AutoCAD, and environmental modeling software is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team and corporate/executive level environment. Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for environmental protection, problem-solving, and continuous learning. Previous internship or co-op experience in environmental engineering, sustainability, or facilities management is a plus.
