Summer 2026 Human Resources Internship Location: Hybrid within Florida service area locations Your role in our success: This role will be engaged with the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) team on responsibilities and projects related to supporting business unit strategic objectives, employee and labor relations, leadership engagement, talent management as well as key partner communications and engagement. What you'll be working on:
- Support organizational projects to include assisting with departmental restructure activities, creating and updating job descriptions, updating organizational charts, and creating various staffing reports.
- Participate in business unit compensation requests including equity reviews, progressions, reclassifications, promotions and lateral transfers.
- Prepare and deliver HR presentations in business unit meetings to include employee meetings, leadership meetings and project meetings.
- Participate in talent management discussions with supervisors to discuss recognition, development, coaching, corrective action, and union grievances. Compose, review, edit and assist with individual development plans and corrective action documentation.
- Participate in human resources investigations by assisting with preparation for and scheduling investigatory interviews, taking detailed notes, collecting related documentation, analyzing data, and preparing reports.
- Assist managers with developing onboarding plans and assist the HRBP team with scheduling and facilitating offboarding meetings.
- Draft human resources communications for organizational distribution and coordinate with various internal teams such as strategic communications, IT, community affairs, etc. with regard to content, review, and publication.
Who you are:
- Current college student seeking a bachelor's degree in human resources, business or a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Valid Driver's License
