About the role

You'll lead our Front Desk crew to deliver the Ultimate Fitness Experience to every member, every time. From warm welcomes to smooth operations, you'll coach a high-energy team that turns first impressions into lifelong fans.

What you'll do

  • Inspire, coach, and mentor Front Desk Associates to exceed service and sales goals.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and grow an all-star front-of-house team.
  • Run the playbook: implement all Front Desk SOPs with consistency and care.
  • Keep operations crisp-cleanliness, organization, and teammate relations on point.
  • Lead new-hire development, ongoing coaching, and regular team huddles.
  • Share club updates so the desk team is always in the know.
  • Oversee POS activity and ensure accurate, complete transactions.
  • Build schedules, track time & attendance, and verify/approve payroll bi-monthly.
  • Track inventory, restock essentials, and optimize ordering systems.
  • Promote pro shop items, drinks, and supplements with friendly product know-how.
  • Support day-to-day club operations and serve as Manager On Duty as needed.
  • Follow all facility, service, program, and emergency procedures.

What you bring

  • Excellent communication, listening, and relationship-building skills.

  • Strong work ethic-punctual, organized, and detail-driven.
  • Proven team leadership and coaching ability.
  • Comfortable with MS Office, email, and basic Windows tools.
  • Cash-handling know-how and accuracy at the POS.
  • Ability to create simple income/expense projections for desk programs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required (or willingness to obtain certification within 30 days).
  • Management experience preferred.
