About the Role In this opportunity as a Software Engineer - AI, you will: Prepare and structure datasetsfor development, testing, and quality evaluation of AI features to ensure robust model performance and reliability Implement AI performance metricsthat support data-driven prioritization of iterative improvements and product enhancements Translate prototypes into production-ready codeunder guidance from senior engineers, ensuring quality, maintainability, and scalability Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, code reviews, and team ceremonies to deliver features collaboratively and efficiently Demonstrate a growth mindsetby actively learning new tools, frameworks, and best practices in AI/ML and software engineering About You You're a fit for the role of Software Engineer - AI if you have the following required qualifications: 2+ years of experience in software engineering; at least 1 year focused on AI/ML Proficiency in Python and experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g.,PyTorch, TensorFlow) Strong understanding of machine learning principles, evaluation, and system design Knowledge ofMLOpsand the end-to-end lifecycle of AI-powered software applications Experience integrating AI models into production systems using APIs and data pipelines Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Strong communicationskills and experience working in cross-functional teams Experience with AI-driven systems, agent-based architectures, or AI APIs from providers like OpenAI andAnthropic. Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, or search-basedAI. Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $94,500 - $175,500. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
