*We're hiring two Junior Systems Administrators to join a small, hands-on IT team supporting a healthcare technology company during a major integration. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with Mac systems, and contributing to a collaborative, fast-paced environment.*
*Job Title:* Junior Systems Administrator (Mac-Focused) *Location:* Austin, TX 78731 *Schedule:* Monday-Friday, normal business hours *Start Date:* ASAP *Type:* On-site | 3-Month Contract (Potential to Extend or Convert) *Pay Range:* $35-$45/hr (based on experience) *Pre-Employment Requirement: *Must be willing to submit to background AND drug screening *Responsibilities:* * Provide technical support for macOS systems (95% of the environment) * Respond to help desk tickets and troubleshoot user issues across hardware and software * Set up and manage devices using Kandji or JAMF, including building and maintaining policies and configurations * Support Google Workspace administration (user/group management, access controls, basic security settings) * Assist with AV equipment and basic infrastructure tasks (VPN, network troubleshooting, etc.) * Collaborate with senior team members and follow documented processes * Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing across the team *Requirements:* * 2-3+ years of professional experience supporting macOS environments * Hands-on experience with Kandji or JAMF, including policy/configuration management (not just enrollment verification) * Familiarity with Google Workspace administration beyond basic user/group tasks * Exposure to identity providers (IDPs) such as Okta, JumpCloud, or Google Identity, especially with SSO/SAML configurations * Basic scripting knowledge (Bash or Python) is a plus * Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn * Comfortable working on-site and getting hands-on with hardware and systems *Why Join:* * Exclusive opportunity with a growing healthcare tech team * Small, collaborative IT environment with startup-style flexibility * Chance to grow into a longer-term or permanent role *Interested?* Let's chat!
