*Description*
The Microsoft 365 Platform Product Manager is responsible for driving the technical strategy, roadmap, and platform optimization of M365 services within the organization. This role focuses on maximizing business value by aligning M365 capabilities with organizational needs, fostering innovation, and ensuring platform readiness for evolving business demands. This is a platform-focused role that partners closely with user-facing teams to ensure business alignment, feedback integration, and support of adoption efforts. The Product Manager collaborates with stakeholders to continuously improve the platform's functionality, scalability, and enterprise impact. Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & Roadmap *Define and execute a platform-centric product vision and roadmap for Microsoft 365 services. *Prioritize enhancements based on business needs, platform performance, and vendor roadmap insights. *Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Stakeholder & Team Partnership *Partner with user-facing teams to understand business needs and ensure platform capabilities support enterprise collaboration. *Support internal teams in synthesizing user feedback and aligning it with platform evolution. *Work with leadership to ensure M365 supports business transformation efforts. *Represent the firm in engagements with Microsoft's M365 product teams to anticipate roadmap changes and opportunities. Feature Development & Optimization *Evaluate and implement new features to enhance collaboration and productivity. *Optimize platform performance, scalability, and usability through continuous improvements. *Leverage automation and integrations to streamline business processes. Governance, Security & Compliance *Work alongside IT and security teams to ensure the platform meets compliance and security standards. *Define governance frameworks to support scalability and sustainable growth. *Coordinate with technical product owners to ensure alignment between user needs and platform capabilities. Training, Communication & Change Management *Partner with internal training, communications, and change management teams to support the successful rollout and adoption of Microsoft 365 capabilities. *Provide accurate, timely, and platform-relevant information to enable those teams to develop effective materials and campaigns. *Ensure alignment between platform updates and user-facing messaging, offering guidance on timing, impact, and technical implications. *Demonstrate empathy for the user experience, advocating for intuitive, accessible solutions and minimizing disruption during change. Metrics & Performance Analysis *Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure platform success. *Use data-driven insights to iterate and refine platform strategy. *Present reports and recommendations to stakeholders. Qualifications & Skills *Experience: Experience in product management, preferably with Microsoft 365 or enterprise collaboration tools. *Knowledge: Strong knowledge of M365 services, including SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, and OneDrive. *Skills: Proven ability to translate business and technical requirements into platform improvements and operational enhancements. *Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile methodologies, stakeholder management, and enterprise IT operations. *Communication: Excellent communication and leadership skills to drive alignment and engagement. *Skills* Office 365, Microsoft, Active directory, Exchange, Sharepoint online *Top Skills Details* Office 365,Microsoft,Active directory,Exchange,Sharepoint online *Additional Skills & Qualifications* 1. Deep Microsoft 365 Expertise In-depth knowledge of M365 services: SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, OneDrive, Power Platform. Understanding of M365 architecture, licensing, and integration capabilities. Awareness of emerging features and roadmap developments from Microsoft. 3. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration Strong interpersonal skills to partner with user-facing teams and business stakeholders. Ability to synthesize user feedback and translate it into actionable platform improvements. Experience working with cross-functional teams including IT, security, compliance, and training. 4. Platform Optimization & Innovation Capability to evaluate and implement new features that enhance collaboration and productivity. Experience with automation tools (e.g., Power Automate) and process improvement. Focus on scalability, usability, and continuous improvement of the platform. 5. Governance, Security & Compliance Familiarity with enterprise IT governance frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Ability to define and enforce governance policies for sustainable platform growth. Collaboration with security teams to ensure platform integrity and risk mitigation. 6. Change Management & User Adoption Experience supporting training, communication, and change management initiatives. Empathy for user experience and ability to advocate for intuitive, accessible solutions. Skill in aligning platform updates with user-facing messaging and rollout strategies. 7. Data-Driven Decision Making Proficiency in defining and tracking KPIs to measure platform success. Ability to analyze usage data and performance metrics to inform strategy. Experience presenting insights and recommendation *Experience Level* Expert Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $95.00 - $95.00/hr.
