Security Installer - Residential & Small Business We're looking for a skilled Security Installer to join our team and help protect homes and small businesses with top-tier security systems. If you have experience with alarm systems, CCTV, card access, and fire alarms-and enjoy working directly with customers-this could be a great fit for you. What You'll Be Doing: * Install and service residential and small business security systems including burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV, and card access systems. * Work with wireless, IP-based devices and troubleshoot system issues. * Run low-voltage alarm cable in existing homes and small business locations. * Repair and upgrade window/door contacts, motion detectors, and smoke detectors. * Conduct service calls and pre-wire residences for future installations. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: * Contact customers before scheduled installs to confirm timing and expectations. * Follow wiring diagrams and installation procedures to ensure proper setup. * Test systems to confirm connectivity with monitoring centers. * Coordinate with police and fire departments for emergency call setup. * Keep job sites clean and safe, and use materials efficiently. * Prepare installation estimates based on supervisor guidance or site conditions. Top Skills: * Security systems (alarms, CCTV, card access) * Honeywell systems * Low-voltage wiring * Customer service and professionalism What We're Looking For: * Intermediate-level experience in security system installation and service * Strong communication and customer service skills * Respectful, reliable, and willing to travel as needed with your own vehicle * Ability to work safely and responsibly in residential environments Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
