*Description*
Position Summary: The Technical Project Manager leads the delivery of complex healthcare IT projects that support clinical, operational, and administrative functions. This role manages all aspects of project execution, from scope definition and planning to timeline, budget, and stakeholder coordination. Working cross-functionally with architects, SMEs, clinicians, and business leaders, the TPM ensures solutions drive innovation, improve patient care, and enhance system performance. Responsibilities include maintaining project documentation, controlling scope, and ensuring clear communication and measurable outcomes. Ideal candidates have 4-5 years of IT project management experience, preferably in healthcare. Key Responsibilities: *Coordinate with facilities, architects, and contractors to manage IT buildouts in new and remodeled clinical and administrative spaces. *Oversee the installation of network, AV, and security systems and ensure compliance with physical safety and environmental standards. *Coordinate readiness for cloud adoption, support cloud-related hardware decommissioning or upgrades, and ensure physical network and security alignment with cloud architecture, and oversee cloud cost-optimization and performance monitoring. *Manage large, long-range, or multiple complex infrastructure and technology projects, ensuring delivery within budget, schedule, and scope. *Align project assignments with IT program priorities, objectives, and procedures, determining service targets and resource needs. *Develop project scope, cost estimates, requirements, work plans, schedules, and communication plans. *Lead project documentation including charters, business/technical requirements, budgets, risk registers, and transition plans. *Plan, coordinate, and lead meetings and presentations with stakeholders, customers, and technical teams. *Obtain and evaluate Statements of Work (SOWs) and implementation plans from vendors and internal teams to ensure alignment with project goals. *Set and track project schedules with milestones; manage delays and realign expectations as needed. *Coordinate work activities by scheduling assignments, setting priorities, and directing internal and external resources. *Monitor contracting and legal processes related to infrastructure and technology projects. *Prepare and manage project budgets, including equipment, labor, and time resources. *Manage expenditures and resource utilization throughout the project lifecycle. *Communicate updates and issues impacting project delivery and profitability. *Manage relationships with stakeholders, sponsors, and vendors, ensuring clear communication and expectation management. *Collect, analyze, and summarize data to prepare project status reports and performance metrics. *Manage and facilitate testing and training of new infrastructure, systems, and integrations. *Perform transition services including deployment planning, service validation, change management, and knowledge transfer. *Manage changes to scope, schedule, and cost using PMO change control processes. *Manage cross-functional teams and technical deliveries. *Analyze lessons learned and share insights with PMO, technical teams, and stakeholders. *Act as the primary point of contact for all project communications and documentation. *Track and report on project outcomes and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). *Escalate impediments, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement. *Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and project management practices relevant to infrastructure and healthcare IT. Technical Knowledge: *Understanding of healthcare IT systems, data flows, and clinical workflows. *Intermediate knowledge of networking, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity principles. *Experience with the IT components within facilities and physical security areas (e.g., access control, fire alarms, elevators, CCTV) *Experience with structured cabling and cabling requirements for peripheral systems such as MOCN and DAS. *Experience with project management tools (e.g., ServiceNow SPM/PPM, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet). Project Management Skills: *Strong planning, scheduling, and resource management capabilities. *Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities. *Skilled in stakeholder communication and expectation management. Soft Skills: *Excellent verbal and written communication. *Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. *Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across clinical and technical teams. *Adaptability in a fast-paced, regulated environment *Skills* construction project management, Healthcare IT Infrastructure, Infrastructure installation *Top Skills Details* construction project management,Healthcare IT Infrastructure,Infrastructure installation *Additional Skills & Qualifications* *4 - 6 years of proven experience in IT project delivery, with at least 4 years in construction project coordination involving IT system and infrastructure upgrades. *2 years of proven experience with healthcare IT projects and familiarity with building codes, infection control standards, and clinical space design. *2 - 4 years of experience with vendor and contract management, AV and cabling vendors preferred. *4 - 6 years of proven experience with PMI practices, PMBOK, Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid project management/ development methodologies *Required - PMP, CAPM, or PMI-ACP *Preferred - ITIL Foundation *Preferred - Certified Scrum Master (CSM) *Preferred - Healthcare-specific certifications (e.g., CPHIMS) *Experience Level* Intermediate Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
