NOC Technician

NOC Technician

The NOC Technician monitors network elements, performance, and facilities to ensure reliable operations. This role involves identifying, diagnosing, and resolving network issues in coordination with Field Operations and Technical Specialists. Candidates must have strong communication skills, the ability to multitask across multiple systems, and a commitment to timely issue resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and troubleshoot network equipment including DWDM, MPLS, and SONET.
  
  
• Manage and document trouble tickets accurately.
  
  
• Perform remote diagnostics using Network Management Systems.
  
  
• Support circuit activations and post-maintenance monitoring.
  
  
• Communicate updates and technical information clearly to stakeholders.
  
  

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of telecommunications or NOC experience, or equivalent technical training.
  
  
• Strong customer service and multitasking skills.
  
  
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies and DWDM/MPLS fundamentals.
  
  
• Ability to work independently during night shifts with a focus on quick, effective resolutions.
  
  

Estimated Min Rate: $20.00
Estimated Max Rate: $24.00
