Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit |
The offices within the Enrollment Division (Office of Undergraduate Admissions, Office of Scholarships and Student Aid (OSSA), the Office of the University Registrar, and the Carolina College Advising Corps) focus on increasing the enrollment of outstanding students from North Carolina and beyond; meeting the full demonstrated financial need of all undergraduate students who qualify for federal aid; maintaining the integrity of the student record and academic and administrative processes; supporting student success; and providing great care to all who come our way. The work of the Enrollment Division is closely scrutinized by students and their families; by faculty, staff, students, and alumni; by secondary-school teachers and administrators; by lawmakers at the local, state, and national level; and by the media. |
Position Summary |
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks a collaborative professional to serve as Senior Analyst for Enrollment Systems. Reporting to the Systems and Operations lead for Admissions, this Senior Analyst will provide systems design, development, and support to advance the mission of the Division of Enrollment, which includes the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, the Office of Scholarships and Student Aid, and the Office of the University Registrar. The successful candidate will demonstrate an outstanding ability to support the Division of Enrollment leadership team and staff in implementing solutions that adhere to university policies, foster innovation, and advance student success. The Division of Enrollment uses Technolutions Slate as their primary technology solution, with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions as the University's ERP. The Senior Analyst will have a prominent role in developing, configuring and implementing solutions using Slate. This Senior Analyst will collaborate with leadership, staff, and other internal and external partners to define requirements, design, configure, develop, test, implement, and support Slate technology solutions and business processes that improve service to students, staff, and faculty. The position also helps deliver training and technical support to staff, assists in developing Slate reports and queries to enhance operations and decision making, and provides project management support on key initiatives. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements |
Master's and 1-2 years' experience; or Bachelors and 2-4 years' experience; or will accept a combination of related education and experience in substitution. |
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience |
Demonstrated excellence in solution development; knowledge and understanding of computer systems and software; problem-solving and analytical skills; and excellent oral and written communication skills are required. At least two years of experience in business application consulting, development, or other related work is required. |
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience |
Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions or Technolutions Slate is preferred. Data analysis and reporting (SAS or Tableau) and exemplary organizational skills and interpersonal skills are desired. An advanced degree is preferred. |
