Dematic has an opening for a Human Resources Business Partner. This role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs regionally and interacts proactively cross-functionally within the HR team. The HRBP is responsible for the full people management cycle of several area populations, dealing with recruiting strategy, performance management, employee development, employee relations, and change management.

The ideal candidate must have the ability to learn and adapt to customer expectations and drive cross-functional collaboration to make things happen with speed and in-line with business priorities. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $75,000-$100,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

This is What You Will do in This Role:

  • Support and partner with leaders across the Americas (AMCS) region with regard to Leadership and Talent Development, Engagement and Retention, Talent Acquisition and Succession, Workforce Planning, Employee Relations and Performance Management to support Dematic's growth plans.
  • Drive and/or facilitate change management and best practices, with a key emphasis on supporting leaders in engaging their direct reports and others through the process.
  • Understand the business and talent priorities by driving business results through systemic organizational and talent strategies that are aligned with the business strategy.
  • Use metrics and data analysis to enable business leaders by identifying trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee engagement.
  • Must demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset and suggest ideas for improvement.
  • Lead complex employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees in areas of compliance, employee relations, and local law (as applicable).
  • Implement and sustain effective communication practices, including but not limited to All-Hands Meetings, New Hire Orientations,, Employee Communications, etc.

What We are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field.
  • Demonstrable track record of diverse HR experience, with at least 5 years of true HR business partnership. Preferred experience in roles supporting Engineering and Software,
  • Ability to prioritize multiple challenging projects and to navigate across multiple employee disciplines with various employment laws and regulations
  • Highly reciprocal with strong consultative, analytical, time management, and project management skills with the ability to influence, resolve complex problems, and identify systemic issues.
  • Excellent written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build credibility and confidence with a wide variety of stakeholders as a trusted advisor.
  • Exceptional customer focus and ability to deliver results and to make quick, effective, and principles-based decisions.
  • Unquestioned integrity with assertiveness, presence, and confidence.
  • Some travel may be required up to 5%-10%.
