Job Summary

The Program Manager III partners with the Director and key stakeholders to shape the strategic direction, design, and delivery of information technology solutions that meet current and future business needs. This role focuses on overall product strategy while overseeing the execution of initiatives and may manage team members as required.

This position is based in Leawood, Kansas, with remote eligibility.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead and coordinate project strategy across teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Establish and maintain communication with internal peers, external partners, and leadership on product status, roadmap, and opportunities.
  • Enforce and enhance project team processes, promoting consistency and efficiency in managing work.
  • Provide insight and guidance to peers across product groups to drive collaboration and shared success.
  • Develop and manage the product roadmap, overseeing iterative delivery ceremonies and leading product team meetings.
  • Maintain program-level Kanban boards, monitor feature progress, and ensure milestones are communicated and met.
  • Identify, escalate, and facilitate resolution of issues and opportunities.
  • Manage cross-product teams and initiatives, ensuring clarity of tasks, objectives, and responsibilities.
  • Oversee field service resources, both internal associates and vendors, to maintain adequate capacity for project execution.
  • Estimate, set, track, and manage project budgets, integrating financial planning with headcount and task expectations.
  • Promote a culture of continuous process improvement, risk management, and quality assurance across all initiatives.

What we need from you:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, management, business, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years' experience in vendor management
  • 3+ years' experience managing successful hardware/software deployments.
  • 3+ years' experience managing lean and agile project delivery teams.
  • Strong time and task management skills with a results-oriented approach.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities to gather, interpret, and communicate data-driven conclusions.
  • Expertise in process improvement, including project planning, risk management, and quality control.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to convey ideas clearly, manage stakeholders, and navigate organizational dynamics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Kanban board management.

What we also value (preferred):

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Experience managing substantial capital project portfolios.
  • Ability to create and foster a fun and enjoyable work atmosphere.

Minimum qualifications:

Compensation

AMC provides a compensation range for open positions where required. Factors that may be used to determine actual compensation may include, but are not limited to, a specific skill set, relevant experience or geographic location. The compensation range for this position may be lower or higher in different markets based on business needs.

The compensation for this position is: $90000 - $105000
